Job description
IGM Lifts is looking for skilled and motivated Lift Technicians & Installers to join its team in Malta.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of various lift and elevator systems. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys solving technical problems and working with both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install different types of lift and elevator systems.
- Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of lift systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform repairs to ensure lifts operate safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks.
- Identify faults in elevator systems and their components.
- Work effectively with other members of the technical team.
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide good customer service.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures when carrying out technical work.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven experience as a Lift Technician, Lift Installer, or similar technical role.
- Technical knowledge of elevator systems and components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Previous relevant technical experience.
- A valid driving licence.
