Furniture Production CAD/CAM Technician – Construct Furniture

Construct Furniture is looking for an organised and technically capable Furniture Production CAD/CAM Technician to join its team in Luqa, Malta.

This is a full-time opportunity for a candidate with experience in AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, and furniture manufacturing who can turn furniture designs into accurate technical drawings and clear production documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that drawings and manufacturing information are accurate and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review technical drawings for furniture production.
2. Create and maintain accurate production documentation.
3. Support CAD/CAM preparation for furniture manufacturing.
4. Coordinate with design and production teams regarding drawings and manufacturing requirements.
5. Resolve technical and production-related queries.
6. Maintain organised production files, revisions, and records.
7. Ensure manufacturing documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.

Job Requirements

1. Confident working knowledge of AutoCAD.
2. Basic to intermediate knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.
3. Practical understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.
4. Ability to produce accurate technical and manufacturing documents.
5. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Good spoken and written English.
8. Knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
9. Applicants should already be based in Malta.
10. Must be available to start at short notice.
