1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using HotelJobsInMalta.com (the “Website”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
These terms are intended to support a transparent, trustworthy job marketplace consistent with Google’s expectations for clear business identity, honest advertising and non-deceptive user experiences.
2. What HotelJobsInMalta is (and is not)
HotelJobsInMalta.com is an online hospitality job board connecting job seekers with employers advertising roles in Malta.
- We publish vacancies and employer profiles supplied by users/companies.
- We provide tools for candidates to create profiles and apply.
- We are not an employer for listed jobs unless we expressly state otherwise.
- We are not a government immigration office, visa agency or work-permit authority.
- We do not guarantee that you will get a job, interview, visa or work authorisation.
- We do not charge candidates a fee to create an account or apply to jobs.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.
The Website is intended for adults. Employers must be authorised to post roles for their organisation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users.
4. Candidate responsibilities
- Provide truthful CV, experience and contact details.
- Do not misrepresent work authorisation, qualifications or identity.
- Use applications only for genuine employment interest.
- Never pay anyone who claims they can “guarantee” a hotel job through this platform.
- Report suspicious listings via our Contact Us page.
5. Employer & job listing standards
Employers agree that job posts and company profiles will:
- Describe real hospitality vacancies related to Malta (or clearly stated remote/hybrid arrangements if any).
- Be accurate about role, location, contract type and key requirements.
- Comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination and advertising laws.
- Not request unlawful fees from applicants or collect data unrelated to recruitment.
- Not include malware, scams, phishing, adult content or misleading claims.
We may edit, refuse or remove listings that appear false, discriminatory, unsafe or non-compliant, including content that would violate Google’s spam, misrepresentation or dangerous-products policies if advertised.
6. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, CVs, job descriptions, logos). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and process it as needed to operate the Website (including sharing candidate application materials with the relevant employer).
You confirm you have the rights to submit that content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-download personal data without permission
- Attempt to disrupt, hack or overload the Website
- Post unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or deceptive content
- Impersonate another person or organisation
- Use the Website to send spam or unsolicited marketing outside legitimate recruitment contact
8. Third-party sites & employers
Job outcomes depend on employers, not on us. External websites linked from listings or articles have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites or employer decisions.
9. Intellectual property
The Website design, branding, logos and original content are owned by HotelJobsInMalta.com or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission, except for fair personal use of publicly available pages.
10. Disclaimers
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep information accurate and the service reliable, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free content, or that every listing is still open at the moment you view it.
Guidance pages (including “How to Work in Malta”) are general information only and are not legal, immigration or employment advice. Always verify official requirements with Identity Malta and qualified professionals where needed.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HotelJobsInMalta.com and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities arising from use of the Website, employer decisions, or reliance on listings/user content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Maltese or EU consumer law.
12. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security risk, post prohibited content, or if required for legal or operational reasons. You may stop using the Website and request account closure by contacting us.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Courts of Malta shall have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
