A leading business law firm in Malta is looking for a Junior Associate – Fintech & Financial Services to join its practice.
This is an exciting Job in Malta for a legal professional interested in fintech, financial services, digital assets and evolving regulatory matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on legal and regulatory matters involving emerging technologies and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and regulatory research.
- Work on matters relating to fintech, crypto-assets, digital assets, payments and e-money.
- Support MiCA, PSD2 and EMD2 related matters.
- Assist with licensing and authorisation applications.
- Prepare and support regulatory analysis and client documentation.
Job Requirements
- Law degree or relevant qualification.
- Around 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong research, drafting and analytical skills.
- Genuine interest in fintech, crypto and emerging technologies.
- Excellent command of English.
