Customs Clearance Executive Job in Malta
Looking for Jobs in Malta in shipping, logistics and customs? EuroBridge is growing its team and is looking for a motivated and organised Customs Clearance Executive to join its team on a full-time basis.
This opportunity is suitable for someone who is meticulous, enthusiastic, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in shipping, logistics or customs clearance is an advantage, but candidates without previous experience who are eager to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Customs Clearance Executive Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support customs clearance, shipment processing, customer service and administrative activities.
Main Duties
- Prepare and process customs documentation for import and export shipments.
- Process customs declarations through the Malta Customs online system (CES).
- Liaise with clients and agents.
- Provide professional customer service.
- Coordinate internally to support the prompt delivery of shipments.
- Handle customer queries.
- Complete filing and daily administrative tasks.
- Carry out Intrastat inputting.
- Issue invoices.
- Handle NSO-related requirements.
- Ensure documentation and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
EuroBridge is looking for candidates with:
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Maltese.
- Minimum 'O' Level standard of education.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Confidence and professionalism when dealing with clients.
- Good telephone handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive and proactive “Let’s Do It” attitude.
Previous Industry Experience
Previous experience in the shipping and logistics industry, particularly in customs clearance, will be considered an asset.
However, previous experience is not essential for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
