Maintenance Technician Job in Malta

The company operates guesthouses and long-let rental apartments across Malta, and the successful candidate will be responsible for general repairs, property maintenance and preventive maintenance across different locations.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will support the upkeep and maintenance of guesthouses and rental apartments across Malta.
Main Duties
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guesthouses and apartments.
- Perform plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting and tiling.
- Service and troubleshoot air-conditioning units.
- Service and troubleshoot water heaters and household appliances.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and the front office.
- Handle occasional urgent maintenance call-outs.
- Carry out routine property inspections.
- Complete preventive maintenance checks.
- Prepare apartments for incoming guests.
- Carry out minor repairs and replace fittings where required.
- Ensure appliances, fixtures and equipment are working properly.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when specialist work is required.
- Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work.
- Maintain stocks of tools, spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Ensure all maintenance work follows relevant health and safety standards.
Requirements
