Shop Assistant Job in Malta – Petland

Petland is looking for a passionate and energetic Shop Assistant to join its retail team at its stores in Ħal Għaxaq and Birkirkara.

The role is suited to someone who loves pets, enjoys helping customers and wants to work in a retail environment dedicated to pet owners and their pets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Open and close the shop daily.
2. Keep the shop stocked and well presented.
3. Assist customers and handle their queries.
4. Manage daily cash takings.
5. Maintain high standards of customer service.

Job Requirements

1. Passionate about pets or a pet owner.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Organised, flexible and proactive.
4. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
5. Able to work independently.
6. Fluent in Maltese and English.
7. Computer literate.
8. Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
9. Must be 18 years or older.
10. Available to work shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
